Before it became a reality, Mosaico Musical existed only as an idea. Its creator, Amanda Gomes, has always had a strong connection with the musical universe since childhood. In 2017, during her academic career, she identified an opportunity to innovate in the field of communication, resulting in the creation of Mosaico Musical.

The first draft of the portal was "a YouTube channel dedicated to various areas related to music, focusing on the appreciation of rhythms and artists from Bahia". Our first interviewees were Verlando Gomes, from the band Flor Serena, Milsinho Veloso and Pipolo, representatives of the sertanejo and forró music scene. In addition to them, other renowned singers and composers, such as Matheus Kennedy, Kart Love and Serginho, from Adão Negro, also contributed to the program's history.
During the pandemic that began in 2020, Mosaico was one of the means between artists and the public in the #stayathome campaign. But after a while it was necessary to take a break to better structure the project and look for new collaborators to carry out the project.
When events returned, the good thing about Mosaico Musical was that it started to be part of major events and releases in the Northeast.
The Portal's objective over the years has been refined to "A vehicle to value and inform about singers, composers and events from the Northeast and Brazil". Creating an audience that engages with the philosophy of "positive news", the vehicle focuses on healthy news without controversy or gossip, focusing on what matters, which is talking about music.
